Literacy.

Department Chairperson:
- Special Projects HOBY and CLEWS;
Special projects are supporting our libraries, scholarships and continuing life-learning projects
- Learning Disabilities We seek
to educate members and the public about learning disabilities, focusing
specifically on
early detection and intervention.
- Literacy Program, We
participate in a program sponsored
by Proctor and Gamble that continues the youth literacy/aspire programs.
A special goal is
education of members and public about literacy issues and encourage
their involvement in reading
programs for children.
